In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for grant of promotion on the Maharashtra Development Service Group-B post i.e. as Assistant Black Development Officer. She repeatedly submitted written representations to the respondent No.1 on which there is no decision till date. Such of the representations were made on 30.01.2025 and recently on 30.08.2025.

Thus considering the prayer clause of the petitioner, we are of the opinion that purpose would be served if the respondent No.1 is directed to decide the above referred representations of the petitioner and also consider the grounds raised in the petition and the documents filed alongwith the petition to decide the claim of the petitioner for promotion.

Accordingly, we dispose of the present petition with direction to the respondent No.1 to take decision on the representations of the petitioner dated 30.01.2025 and 30.08.2025 within three weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the respondent No.1.

We further direct the respondent No. 1 to take into consideration grounds raised in the present petition and the documents filed alongwith the petition while deciding the above referred representations.

The petitioner shall appear before the Secretary for Rural Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai on 3.12.2025 at 11:00 a.m.

The petitioner shall produce the copy of the petition alongwith the annexures and copy of this order on the same day before the respondent No.1.
