DATED : 29-09-2021 The applicant is seeking bail in connection with Crime 415/2020 registered with the Koradi Police Station, Nagpur, for offences punishable under Sections 364-A, 387, 342, 294, 506-B and 323 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicant approached this Court vide Criminal Application (BA) 569/2020, which is rejected by order dated 21-10-2020. Apart from the formidable material on record, this Court noted that the applicant was a history-sheeter and sixteen offences were registered against him earlier. However, this application was rejected prior to the filing of the charge-sheet. 3.

The next attempt was made after the filing of the charge-sheet vide Criminal Application (BA) 1342/2020. After a lengthy hearing, the learned Counsel for the applicant withdrew the application.

I am not inclined to grant bail. I have perused the material in the charge-sheet and I am of the considered view that there is a formidable prima facie case made out. Moreover, the criminal antecedents of the applicant and the possibility that he would pressurize the witnesses if granted bail, is a relevant consideration given the formidable material against the accused. 5.

The application is dismissed.
