We have perused the affidavit dated 29/04/2024 filed by respondent No.2-Executive Engineer. It is claimed therein that the amount of compensation shall be deposited within a period of six months from 29/04/2024.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).

The entire amount of compensation with interest shall be deposited in any case by 31/10/2024.
