The applicant apprehending arrest in Crime 376/2018 registered with the Police Station Wardha (City), Wardha for offence punishable under section 379 of the Indian Penal code. A black goat was stolen.

The accusation against the present applicant is that the vehicle which was used to steal the black goat is owned by him.

Prima facie, it does not appear that the applicant was at the spot. The role of the applicant, according to the learned A.P.P. Shri Thakare, has surfaced in the statement of the co-accused.

The applicant has no criminal antecedents. The submission is that he lent vehicle to one Sagar Shende in good faith. Be that as it may, in view of the nature of accusations and the material on record and particularly the fact that the applicant has no criminal antecedents this

In the event of arrest in Crime 376/2018 the applicant be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond of Rs.15,000/- with a solvent surety of the like amount.

The applicant shall co-operate with the Investigating and shall attend the Police Station Wardha (City), Wardha as and when required by the I.O. The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence nor shall applicant directly or indirectly attempt to influence the witnesses in any manner.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
