By this petition, the petitioner seeks a declaration that the petitioner is entitled to the pensionary benefits as per the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982. The petitioner has sought a direction to the respondents to fix and release the pension, gratuity and the other consequential benefits according to law.
Shri Thakare, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State Government, states on instructions from the office of the Accountant General that the pensionary benefits are being released to the petitioner. In view of the statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, which would be binding on the Government, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
