Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The only relief pressed by the learned counsel for the petitioners is for expeditious consideration of the petitioners proposal for starting 8th standard at the petitioner no.2-School run by the petitioner no.1-Trust. 3.

In that regard, it is submitted that the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Nagpur on 13.04.2018 issued a communication to the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Nagpur and forwarded a proposal to that effect. The Education Officer (Primary) thereafter referred the same to the Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur Division, Nagpur on 20.01.2023. The Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur has on 14.02.2023 forwarded that proposal to the Director of Education, Pune. 4.

In these facts, the respondent no.2-Director of Education, Pune is directed to consider the proposal forwarded to it by the Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur Division, Nagpur on 14.02.2023 in the matter of permission to start 8th standard at the petitioner no.2-School. Since the

7-WP-3096-23.odt 2 academic session is to commence shortly, such decision be taken within a period of two weeks of receiving the copy of this order. Decision taken be communicated to the petitioners.
