Challenge is to order of promotion dated 19-6-2000. The employees likely to be affected if that order is quashed and set aside are joined as respondent nos. 2 to 18. The petition is already dismissed against respondent nos. 9, 10 and 16 in terms of the order of this Court dated 7-6-2007. 3.

In this situation, we find that challenge of order of promotion in part is rendered infructuous. We therefore dismiss the writ petition for want of prosecution.

Rule discharged. No costs.
