DATE : MARCH 09, 2017.
None appears for petitioner. Shri P.S.
Tembhare, learned Counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 3. Though respondent nos. 4 and 5 are served, they are not represented.
2.
Petitioners caste claim as belonging to Halba Scheduled Tribe is invalidated by the Scrutiny Committee vide its order dated 15.05.2000. Petitioner needed that validity to prosecute his education. This Court admitted the Writ Petition on 02.06.2003, but, decline to grant any interim relief. With the result, it is obvious that petitioner did not and could not use his
Order 0903wp2155.00 caste certificate for any purpose.
3.
The petition is amended lastly on 12.10.2001. Thus, after admission of Writ Petition for final hearing, there is no amendment to writ petition to bring on record any subsequent events.
4.
Learned counsel for petitioner Shri C.G. Madkholkar, is no more.
5.
In this situation, we find that no purpose will be served by issuing notice to petitioner for engaging another advocate. With clarification that caste claim of any relative of petitioner shall not be invalidated only on account of order dated 15.05.2000 impugned in the present matter, we discharge Rule. No costs.
