DATED : 15-12-2020 Vide order dated 05-10-2020 the applicants were extended interim protection. It is not the case of the prosecution that the applicants have not complied with the direction to attend the police station.

Concerning the same incident, cross reports are lodged. In so far as report in the present matter is concerned, it is not in dispute that no injury as such is suffered by the alleged victim of the assault. 3.

In this view of the matter, the interim protection granted vide order dated 05-10-2020 is made absolute, subject to the only modification that till the charge-sheet is filed, the applicants shall attend the concerned police station as and when required by the Investigating Officer. JUDGE adgokar
