The applicants are arrayed as accused for offences punishable under sections 498-A, 504, 506, 323 read with section 34 of Indian Penal Code, vide Crime 746/2020, which is registered on the basis of oral report lodged by non-applicant 2 Mrs. Vaishali Thakare, who is the wife of applicant 7 Mr. Vinod Thakare.

Mr. Vinod Thakare and Mrs. Vaishali Thakare are present in Court.

We are informed that the matrimonial dispute is amicably settled and Mrs. Vaishali Thakare and Mr. Vinod Thakare are cohabiting together happily.

We therefore, deem it appropriate to quash First Information Report registered vide Crime 746/2020, for offences punishable under sections 498-A, 504, 506, 323 read with section 34 of Indian Penal Code, with Police Station Washim City, Washim, subject to the condition that within the next seven working days, the applicants 1 to 7 shall collectively deposit Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand) in the Registry of this Court, which shall then be transferred to the Police Welfare Fund, Washim City, Washim.
