This application is filed for condonation of 12 days' delay caused in preferring appeal against the judgment and order dated 21/2/2019 passed by learned Special Judge, Akola in Sessions Trial No.173/2013 whereby applicant came to be convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376(2)(i) of Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and sentenced to suffer imprisonment for life and to pay fine of Rs.25,000/- and in default, to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 6 months. For the grounds mentioned in para 2 of the application, delay caused is found satisfactorily explained. The application is, therefore, allowed.
