Karmarkar, Advocate for petitioner Shri A.S. Fulzele, AGP for respondent nos.1 to 3 CORAM : SMT. VASANTI A. NAIK AND A.I.S. CHEEMA, JJ.

DATE : 11.09.2015 By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to mutate the name of the petitioner in respect of the land Survey No.268/4, admeasuring 0.40 hectare in Mouza Kharsoli.

It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that though the petitioner had made an application to the Tahsildar for mutation of her name in the revenue records in the year 2013, the Tahsildar has not decided the application as yet. It is stated that since the copy of the application is not annexed to the petition, the petitioner would make a fresh application to the Tahsildar for mutation of her name in respect of the aforesaid property and the Tahsildar may be directed to decide the same within a time-frame.

1109wp4724.15.odt Since there is a reference to the application made by the petitioner in the year 2013 in some of the documents annexed to the petition, we dispose of the writ petition with permission to the petitioner to file an appropriate application for mutation before the Tahsildar within a period of one month. If the petitioner so applies, the Tahsildar is directed to decide the application as early as possible and positively within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the same. Order accordingly. No costs.
