The applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime 881/2019, registered with Kalamana Police Station, Nagpur for offence punishable under sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

The submission of the learned counsel Shri Uday Dable is that the applicant is not named in the First Information Report and is implicated on the basis of the statement in interrogation of the co-accused. 5.
The allegations against the applicant are extremely grave. According to the prosecution, forged documents were produced in support of the application for release of vehicles. It is transpired during investigation that
aba584of2020 the forged documents are prepared by the applicant. 6.
In the interest of fair and effective investigation, it would be necessary to custodially interrogate the applicant.

The applicant is not entitled to discretionary relief. Granting pre-arrest protection shall undoubtedly hamper investigation.

The application is disposed of.
