By this petition, the petitioner has challenged the agreement between the respondent Nos. 1 & 2 under Build, Operate & Transfer (BOT) Scheme for extension of the bridge on Wardha river. The petitioner has also challenged the notification dated 26.07.1999 issued by the respondent No. 1, levying toll on the motor vehicles using the bridge on Wardha river. It appears on hearing the learned counsel for the parties that the period of contract of BOT between the respondent Nos. 1 & 2 has expired in the year 2004. If that be so, the cause for filing the writ petition would not survive as it has been rendered infructuous. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as infructuous. Rule stands discharged.
