By this Writ Petition, the petitioners challenge the proclamation, issued by the SubDivisional Officer, inviting applications for appointments to the post of Police Patil.

We find that the Petition is premature. If the respondents are not accepting the application of the petitioner and are proceeding with the selection process without following the law laid down by this Court in the judgments reported in,1999(3) Mh.L.J.594 :(Arun vs.State) and 2015 (4) Mh.L.J. 799:(Rajesh vs.State), the petitioners would be free to challenge the selection process after the appointment to the post of Police Patil, is made. It is likely that the respondents would rectify their mistake and consider the candidature of the

petitioners. The petition is premature.

Hence, we dispose of the Writ Petition, with no order as to costs.
