It is the case of the petitioners that though the petitioners are governed by the judgment in Writ Petition No.5771/2011 and the State Government was required to grant the benefits of the pensioncum-gratuity scheme as per the Government Resolution dated 21.7.1983, within a period of six months from the date of the said judgment, the State Government has not released the monetary benefits in favour of the petitioners. It is stated that despite the issuance of Government Resolution dated 17.1.2015, the State

2 wp4777.15.odt Government has not implemented the same and the dues of the petitioners have not been released. In the circumstances of the case, the learned counsel for the petitioners seek a direction to the State Government to release the monetary benefits of the pension-cumgratuity scheme as per the directions in the judgment in Writ Petition No.5771/2011, within a period of three months. In the circumstances of the case, we dispose of the writ petitions, with a direction to the State Government to release the monetary benefits of the pension-cum-gratuity scheme in favour of the eligible petitioners, within a period of three months. If the amount due and payable to the petitioners is not released by the State Government, within a period of three months, the said amount would carry interest. Order accordingly.
