The petitioner, who is convicted has filed present petition seeking quashment of the order dated 18/01/2022 passed by the respondent No.2-Superintendent of Prison, Amravati Central Prison, Amravati.

The respondent No.2, vide order dated 18/01/2022 has rejected the request of the petitioner made on 03/12/2021 to release him on Emergency Parole on the ground of Covid-19 situation prevailing. 4.
The application has been rejected on the ground that the necessary arrangements have been made and the situation of Covid-19 has been improved and the pandemic is under control. It is also mentioned in the said order that till date there was no prisoner suffering from Covid-19 virus.

In view of the above, we do not find any perversity in the order impugned. Accordingly, we dismiss the present petition. 6.
Fees of the learned counsel for the petitioner shall be quantified as per the Rules.
