At the relevant time because of pandemic situation due to Covid-19, though alternate remedy by way of revision under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 was available, the present writ petition came to be filed. However, now, the petitioner can file the revision.

Accordingly, the petitioner is permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file appropriate proceedings before the appropriate Forum. 3.

Since the petitioner was pursuing this writ petition and considering that during the pandemic, the limitation was extended by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the revisional Authority shall not go into the issue of limitation, if the revision is filed within two weeks from today.

If such revision is filed the revisional Authority is directed to decide the same expeditiously. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
