Shri N. D. Jambhule, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the claim of petitioner No.1 for issuing validity certificate as that of belonging to 'Mana' Scheduled Tribe is pending with the Scrutiny Committee since last five months. He submits that the petitioner intends to secure admission for B.Sc. Agriculture Course under S.T. category for the academic year 20242025. Hence it is prayed that the Scrutiny Committee be directed to issue validity certificate to the petitioner within a period of three weeks. 3.
Shri A. A. Madiwale, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that time of three months be granted for deciding the claim of the petitioners. 4.
In the aforesaid backdrop, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 01/07/2024 with all the relevant documents. 5.
The Scrutiny Committee is directed to decide the claim of the petitioner in any case within a period of eight weeks from 01/07/2024. 6.
The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
