Shri N. D. Jambhule, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the claim of petitioner No.1 for issuing validity certificate as that of belonging to 'Mana' Scheduled Tribe is pending with the Scrutiny Committee since last more than one and half year and that of petitioner No.2 is pending since more than six months. He submits that both the petitioners are intending to secure admission for Medical Science Course under S.T. category for the academic year 2024-2025.

Shri A. A. Madiwale, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that time of three months be granted for deciding the claim of the petitioners. 4.

In the aforesaid backdrop, the petitioners are directed to appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 01/07/2024 with all the relevant documents.

The Scrutiny Committee is directed to decide the claim of the petitioners in any case within a period of eight weeks from 01/07/2024. 6.

Order accordingly.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
