1] Communication sent by a citizen has been taken note of and Mr. A.A. Naik, learned Advocate has been appointed as Amicus Curiae to assist the Court.

2] The matter is being looked into after about seven years. Last of the affidavits placed on record by respondent no.7 National Tiger Conservation Authority is dated 20.10.2011. 3] The learned Amicus submits that Tiger Conservation Plan has in the meanwhile become operational and, therefore, the possibility of man-animal conflict has been taken care of and is being looked into. He also submits that guidelines issued by National Tiger Conservation Authority provide for such contingency. 4] In view of this statement, it is apparent that if there are any lacunae in such project or guidelines, the same need to be

27.9PIL.27.10 independently addressed on case to case basis. 5] We, therefore, note that P.I.L. has already achieved the purpose for which it was filed. Accordingly, we dispose of P.I.L. No costs.
