Criminal Application (APL) No.648 of 2020 is pending from last more than five years with a prayer to quash the First Information Report in question. However, in the meantime, the investigation is over and the chargesheet is ready, which is sought to be filed and to that effect a prayer is made by the State by this application. 3.

Considering the material collected during the investigation, we are of the opinion that the chargesheet should be permitted to be filed by the State. Accordingly, the application for permission to file the chargesheet is allowed.

Application is disposed of accordingly.

Since we have permitted to the State to file the chargesheet, the learned counsel for the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the present application and file afresh, raising a challenge to the chargesheet.
