CORAM : B.R. GAVAI AND KUM. INDIRA JAIN, JJ.
DATED : FEBRUARY 09, 2017.
The court suo motu taken cognizance of the matter since there used to be a traffic congestion on Wardha road on account of no separate space being provided for octroi naka. Learned amicus submits that subsequently the Nagpur Municipal Corporation had provided a separate space for octroi check post thereby easing out the vehicles. It is further to be noted that on account of LBT and now further on account of GST, there will be no need of octroi post.
In that view of the matter, no purpose would be served by keeping the PIL pending. PIL stands disposed of as such.
