The applicants are apprehending arrest in Crime 2/2019 registered with Police Station Hiwarkhed, Tq. Khamgaon, Dist. Buldhana for offence punishable under section 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

The allegation is that an amount of Rs.2462/- was paid to one Mahadeo against work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (for short 'MANREGA'), while as a fact, Mahadeo was a Home Guard who was assigned bandobast duty.

In view of the submission that the administrative inquiry does not implicate the applicant and that Mahadeo has filed an affidavit accepting the receipt of the amount and stating that he indeed worked, the interim protection granted vide order dated 08.10.2020 is made absolute with
