The learned counsel for the parties have tendered a compromise pursis in this Court today. The same is accepted on record and marked as "Exhibit-Z".
The compromise pursis is signed by the appellant and the respondent. So also, the same is signed by the counsel for the appellant and the counsel for the respondent. The parties are personally present today, so also, their counsel.
We have perused the terms of the compromise pursis. They appear to be just and reasonable. We have also asked the parties, who are present in the Court today, as to whether they are ad idem on the terms mentioned in the compromise pursis. Both the parties have stated that they are ad idem over the terms in the compromise pursis. Since we find that the terms of the compromise pursis are just and reasonable and the parties have decided to dissolve the marriage solemnized between them on 25/04/2012 in terms of the terms-(a) to (i) in the compromise pursis, that are just and reasonable, the Family Court Appeal No.37 of 2016 is disposed of in terms of the compromise pursis. The marriage between the parties stands dissolved in terms of the compromise pursis. The decree be drawn accordingly. JUDGE JUDGE KHUNTE
