Rule. Heard finally considering the short issue involved. The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer that the Amravati Division of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education be directed to correct the Secondary School Certificate issued to her by correcting the date of birth as mentioned therein from 08/03/2003 to 08/03/2002. Since the attempts of the petitioner in getting that relief were not successful, she was required to file the present writ petition.

Shri A. Parchure, learned counsel for the Amravati Board submits on instructions that if the original Secondary School Certificate that was issued to the petitioner is surrendered by her, a fresh certificate with the corrected date of birth would be issued to her.

6-WP-2541-20 2/2 On instructions the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that within a period of one week from today the original Secondary School Certificate that was issued to the petitioner would be returned to the Divisional Board, Amravati. In view of aforesaid the writ petition is disposed of by issuing following directions :

Within a period of one week from today the petitioner shall return the original Secondary School Certificate to the Amravati Board. Within a period of ten days thereafter, the Amravati Board shall issue a fresh Secondary School Certificate to the petitioner along with her corrected date of birth which is 08/03/2002. With these directions the writ petition is disposed of.
