DATED : DECEMBER 04, 2020 By order dated 25/08/2020, this Court had issued notice in the present Writ Petition subject to the petitioner - Corporation depositing an amount of Rs.3 Crores in this Court in stipulated period of time. 2.

Today, when the petition is called out for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner - Corporation has invited attention of this Court to Civil Application (CAW) No. 1015/2020, whereby the petitioner is seeking extension of time to deposit the aforesaid amount. It is stated in the application that due to pandemic situation and also because clearance was required from higher authorities, the deposit could not be made within the stipulated period of time. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner - Corporation that if

2 wp 2041-2020.odt further time of only 10 days is granted, the said amount will be deposited.

In view of the above, the aforesaid application is disposed of with direction that the time granted for depositing amount of Rs.3 Crores in terms of the order dated 25/08/2020, stands extended till 16th December, 2020.

The application is disposed of.

It is made clear that if the petitioner - Corporation fails to make deposit of aforesaid amount by 16th December, 2020, the writ petition will stand dismissed without reference to the Court.
