04.01.2024 Vide order dated 29.08.2023, subject to deposit of the entire amount of compensation within eight weeks, the impugned order has been stayed. However, the amount has been not deposited. Thus, there is no stay as on today.
Parties are at liberty to take appropriate steps in this regard.
Civil Application No.1759/2022 For the reasons set out in the application, the application is allowed. Delay of 127 days in filing the appeal is condoned.
The appeal be registered and processed as per the rules.
