In view of the order issued by the Department of Social Welfare handing over the administration of the petitioner-Trust, as reflected in the communication dated 14-08-2023, which is taken on record, the learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner states that the grievance made in this petition stood redressed, however the only exception, which is sought to be canvassed by him, is in the matter of appointments of employees carried out by the respondent No.3, which, by the order of this Court, was made subject to the outcome of this writ petition. 2.

As far as the said issue is concerned, we deem it appropriate to permit the petitioner-Trust to canvass the said issue about appointments made by the respondent No.3 before the Commissioner, Social Welfare, Pune, before whom the petitioner-Trust, through its Schedule-I Trustees, can appear on 02-09-2024 with an advance intimation to the newly appointed employees, including that of service of copy of this order, so as to enable them to appear before the said Authority, i.e. the Commissioner, Social Welfare, Pune.

The Commissioner, Social Welfare, Pune after hearing all the interested parties may deal with the issue about appointments by the respondent No.3 during the pendency of this writ petition in view of the objection of the petitioner-Trust that such appointments were made illegally.

The said Authority shall decide the issue as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of eight weeks from the date of conclusion of the hearing.
