DATE : 30.06.2017 By this contempt petition, the petitioner seeks action against the respondents for wilful disobedience of the directions in the judgment, dated 26.9.2016 in Writ Petition No.6842/2016 asking the respondents to release the amount payable to the petitioner in terms of the judgment, within a time-frame. It appears that the Education Officer has filed a special leave petition against the order of which the contempt is alleged and the same is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
In this view of the matter, the contempt petition cannot be proceeded against the respondents any further, at this stage. The contempt petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
