The limited grievance in the petition was with regard to non-removal of encroachment from the land belonging to Gram Panchayat.

An affidavit-in-reply is filed on behalf of the respondent no.7 wherein it is categorically stated that the encroachment has been removed with the assistance of the revenue and the police officers. The photographs pertaining to the removal of the encroachment are also placed on record.

In that view of the matter, we find that the petition has served its purpose. The petition is disposed of as such. Judge Judge J.
