DATE : 15.10.2016 By this writ petition, the petitioner - Education Society has challenged the order of the Shikshan Shulka Samiti fixing the fees for the payment seats, Management seats and the other seats, that were to be filled in the College run by the petitioner - Society.
It appears that during the pendency of the writ petition, in view of the judgments rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and this Court from time to time, the policy in respect of the fixation of fees in the private Colleges has undergone vast change. Probably, the cause of action for filing the writ petition would not survive, in view of the subsequent development and that could be the reason for the non-appearance on the part of the petitioners in the Court today. In view of the aforesaid, we dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs.
