In the present matter, one of the prayers made by the petitioners is to direct the respondents to issue the transfer orders and posting in favour of the petitioners within respondent no. 3Zilla Parishad, Akola from O.B.C. category. 2.
It is the grievance of the petitioners that, the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.), Zilla Parishad Akola is not issuing transfer orders and according to them, the approval of the roster of O.B.C. is not yet finalized.

During the pendency of this petition, the Rural Development Department, Government of Maharashtra issued certain instructions to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Akola by communication dated 03/07/2025 in relation to the relief sought in the present petition. The Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Akola further issued a letter dated 18/07/2025 for making a request for implementation of such instructions issued by the Deputy Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Maharashtra. Thus, it appears that, the C.E.O. is directed to act upon the direction issued by the Government of Maharashtra.

In that view of the matter, nothing survives in this petition and we are of the opinion that the purpose would be served, if the C.E.O. is directed to take a decision in light of the letter dated 03/07/2025 issued by Deputy Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, within a stipulated period.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent no. 3-C.E.O., Zilla Parishad, Akola to comply with the instructions issued by Deputy Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, within a period of six weeks from today and after such decision, consider the case of the petitioners for transfer in light of the final implementation of the directions issued by the Deputy Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Maharashtra dated 03/07/2025.

The liberty is granted to the petitioners to file afresh, if such occasion arises after the decision of the C.E.O., Zilla Parishad, Akola SMC NO. 08/2025 IN WRIT PETITION NO. 6615 OF 2023 In view of decision dated 01/12/2025 in Writ Petition No. 6615/2023, nothing survives in this petition.
