FEBRUARY 2, 2016 The only question raised in this petition is about territorial jurisdiction in the the matter under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The issue is no more res integra and particularly in the light of the fact that an Ordinance as been passed by the Central Government and the territorial jurisdiction has now been settled. In that view of the matter, the present Criminal Writ Petition No.508/2014 is not entertained and it is rejected accordingly.
