Heard Ms. Nazia Pathan, the learned Counsel holding for Shri S.V. Sirpurkar, the learned Counsel for the applicant and Shri A.V. Palshikar, the learned A.P.P. for the non-applicant/State.

Perused the F.I.R. and the reply of the prosecution. According to the applicant, he is not the owner of the vehicle, in question. As of now, there is no material collected by the police to verify the fact. Even otherwise except for the statement of the co-accused, there is no material present on record so as to show prima facie involvement of the applicant in the crime registered against him. Therefore, the criminal antecedents of the applicant would not come in his way to secure anticipatory bail in this case. Hence, the order.

1. The application is allowed.

2. The ad interim anticipatory bail granted by this Court on 10/06/2016 to the applicant is hereby confirmed on the same conditions.

3. The application is disposed of.
