The learned advocate for the petitioner has submitted that the respondent had filed false affidavit in Writ Petition No.4836 of 2015 pursuant to the order passed in that writ petition on 21st September, 2015 and on the basis of that affidavit the writ petition came to be disposed. It is submitted that the respondent is liable to be punished for committing 'criminal contempt' as defined under Section 2(c) of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
In view of the above submission, the petition is required to be placed before Division Bench. Office to take steps accordingly.
