The learned APP, upon instructions, submits that the said proposal/procedure for categorization is pending with the Government.

Taking into consideration a limited prayer, the categorization of the petitioners should be decided, unless the said decision is taken, the release of the petitioner cannot be and therefore, we dispose of the writ petitions by giving directions to the respondents to undertake the procedure for categorization of the petitioners and decide the said categorization within a period of 8 weeks from today.
