Apprehending the arrest at the hands of police in connection with Crime No.158/2024 registered with Police Station Daryapur, District Amravati for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant approached this Court for grant anticipatory bail.

The accusation against the present applicant is on the basis of report lodged by Sultana Parveen Jamil Khan who alleged that due to the previous dispute between the husband of the informant and the present applicant's family members, the other co-accused assaulted the husband of the informant on 16/03/2024 by means of iron rod.

As far as present applicant is concerned, his name is not mentioned in the FIR, no weapon is assigned to him and therefore, his custodial interrogation is not required. Considering the role attributed to the present applicant against whom there is no specific allegation therefore, interim protection granted to the present applicant deserves to be confirmed. Accordingly I proceed to pass following order:
O R D E R
The ad-interim anticipatory bail granted to the present applicant by order dated 21.05.2024 is hereby confirmed, on the similar conditions imposed.
