CORAM : SMT.VASANTI A. NAIK AND A.S. CHANDURKAR, JJ.
DATE : JANUARY 8 , 2016.
None appears for the petitioner, when called. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the resolution dated 03.01.2002 passed by the Zilla Parishad proposing to open a new school at Navegaon, Tahsil and District Gadchiroli. The writ petition was admitted on 01.10.2003 but, no interim relief was granted in favour of the petitioner. During the pendency of the writ petition, the Zilla Parishad School has started functioning.
It appears that due to the non-grant of the interim relief and the fact that the Zilla Parishad has started running the school, the petitioner-Society is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition.
Hence, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
