Heard Shri A.Z. Jibhkate, learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. N.P. Mehta, learned AGP for the respondents.

By order dated 06.05.2017, the approval given to the appointment of the petitioner on 14.08.2014 has been cancelled by the Education Officer.

The instructions to the learned AGP are still awaited. However, it is pointed out to this Court that the controversy is covered by the judgment dated 14.09.2017 in Writ Petition No. 3057 of 2017.

We have in that judgment taken note of Circular dated 23.08.2017 whereby the State Government has accepted absence of power with the Education Officer to review his own orders and has asked his next superior officer to look into the controversy.

Therefore, adopting the same reasons recorded in the judgment dated 14.09.2017, we make rule absolute in the present matter also. No order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE *GS.
