DATED : 18/10/2022 The petitioners have approached this Court seeking grant of compassionate appointment to petitioner no. 2. During pendency of the present writ petition, respondent nos. 2 to 5 have on 06.09.2019 granted appointment to petitioner no. 2 on compassionate basis. Hence, the grievance as raised in the writ petition now stands redressed.

It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioners as well as respondent nos. 2 to 5 that thereafter, a proposal dated 19.09.2022 has been moved before respondent no. 1 seeking approval to the appointment of petitioner no. 2. 3.

Respondent no. 1 - Education Officer (Secondary) is directed to consider the said proposal in accordance with law and take a decision thereon within a period of eight weeks from today. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
