The present matter pertains to the non-payment of compensation in respect of the land acquired from the petitioner-club, on account of the pendency of the appeal. 3.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner the compensation comes to Rs.11 Crores.

On the other hand, the learned AGP submits that the appeal under Section 3(G) of the National Highways Act, 1956 has now been decided, wherein the amount of compensation has been determined. It is further submitted that the compensation so determined stands reduced. 5.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, if so instructed by the petitioner, he would take appropriate further steps to challenge the order passed in the appeal. 6.

He further makes a prayer for direction to the nd.thawre

2/2 authorities to deposit the amount.

The learned AGP makes a statement that since the appeal has already been decided, and as the amount is being demanded, the same shall be deposited accordingly. 8.

Hence, nothing survives in the present petition. The same is accordingly disposed of, with liberty to file appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum, if the petitioner so desires.
