By this application, the applicant is seeking quashment of First Information Report No.215 of 2025 registered with the Kalmana Police Station, Nagpur City for the offence punishable under Sections 281 and 125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3.
Learned Counsel for the applicants and learned Counsel for non-applicant no. 2 jointly made a statement that the dispute between the parties has been resolved amicably out of the Court and in that regard, the affidavit is filed on record. 4.
The non-applicant no. 2 stated that the dispute between the
parties has been resolved with the aid and intervention of family and friends and therefore, non-applicant no. 2 does not want to prosecute the criminal proceedings against the present applicants. 5.
Since the parties have settled their dispute amicably, even if the trial is conducted no fruitful purpose would be served. Accordingly, we pass the following order :
(a) The Criminal Application is allowed.
(b) First Information Report No.215 of 2025 registered with the Kalmana Police Station, Nagpur City for the offence punishable under Sections 281 and 125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, is hereby quash and set aside. (PRAVIN S. PATIL , J.
