Heard Shri N.D. Khamborkar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri V.P. Gangane, learned AGP for the respondents.

Admittedly, Writ Petition No. 7645 of 2018, filed by the present petitioner to challenge her disqualification, is pending before this Court. In the said petition, in the order dated 13.11.2018, it was made clear that any steps taken by the respondent authorities shall be subject to the final result of the said petition.

Now, in the present petition, the petitioner states that the respondents have initiated the process for election. The petitioner seeks direction, not to proceed further with the process of election of Ward No. 5 for Gram Panchayat, Talegaon, till Writ Petition No. 7645 of 2018 is decided finally.

In my view, as it is already made clear that any step taken by the respondents shall be subject to the final result of the said petition, there is no need for any direction in that respect. Hence, present writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
