The challenge raised in the present writ petition is to the order of suspension dated 16.02.1998 that has been issued by the respondent no. 1 thereby suspending the petitioner and two others since it was proposed to hold the departmental enquiry against them. The challenge is also raised to the order of removal dated 12.05.2005 which has been confirmed by the Appellate authority on 14.12.2005.

On perusing the writ petition and its Annexures, it is seen that the petitioner was convicted for the offence punishment under Sections 489-B and 489-C of the Indian Penal Code. We find the challenge as raised to the impugned orders is belated. However, to grant one opportunity to the petitioner, stand over to 07.02.2020.
