CRIMINAL APPLICATION 504 OF 2019 The appellant is convicted for offence punishable under section 7 read with section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and is sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for three years and to payment of fine of Rs. 3,000/-.

The sentence is suspended by the trial Court.

apeal368of2019.odt 2 In view of the duration of the sentence, and the possibility that this Court may not be in a position to decide the appeal early, sentence of imprisonment is suspended till the disposal of the appeal.

The appellant shall deposit the fine amount, if not already deposited, within four weeks.

The appellant shall be released on bail, as in the trial Court.
