The applicant filed this application seeking directions to the non-applicant to release her on bail, she having been arrested in crime registered against her for the offences punishable under Sections 20(c) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. On 9th June, 2017 the learned A.P.P. sought time to file reply, however, considering the facts on record, it was directed that the applicant be released on provisional bail. The non-applicant has filed reply.

The investigation is complete and charge-sheet is filed on 6th June, 2017. The factors which weighed with this Court for directing release of the applicant on provisional bail are already recorded in the order dated 9th June, 2017. In addition to those, in view of the fact that investigation is complete and charge-sheet is filed, the order granting provisional bail to the applicant is confirmed. The application is allowed accordingly.
