SANAP, JJ DATE : 25.02.2022 The relief sought in this writ petition is with regard to grant of approval to the petitioner No.2 - Secondary School and Junior College for absorption of the services of the petitioner Nos. 3 to 20 since these Teachers were initially serving at Guru Nanak Primary School, Bezanbag, Nagpur. The said School was subsequently closed rendering the services of the petitioner Nos. 3 to 20 surplus.

2] Pursuant to the order dated 25.11.2021 passed in the writ petition, statement is made by Shri Majid, learned counsel for the respondent No. 3 that the services of 12 Teachers have been absorbed in various Primary Schools. Similar statement is made by Ms N. P. Mehta, learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1 and 2 that the services of 6 Assistant Teachers have been absorbed in various Municipal Council Schools. The list of teachers absorbed, as tendered by the learned counsel, is taken on record and marked 'A' for identification. Further statement made on instructions is that

the petitioner Nos. 3 to 20 are receiving their regular salary after absorption. So far as payment of arrears of salary are concerned it is stated that by taking proper steps the arrears would be cleared within a period of four months from today. 3] Accepting the aforesaid statement as an undertaking to the Court, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to pay the arrears of salary of petitioner Nos. 3 to 20 within a period of four months. Order accordingly. No order as to costs.
