DATED : 12-06-2024 The constitutional powers of this Court are invoked by the petitioner-pregnant woman seeking medical termination of pregnancy pursuant to the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971.

Considering the nature of the relief claimed in the petition, this Court directed constitution of Medical Board and the examination of health of the petitioner vide order dated 10-6-2024.

In compliance with the said order, the Government Pleader Mr. D.V. Chauhan has placed in a sealed envelope a report duly issued by the Medical Board constituted pursuant to the order of this Court. 4.

Along with the said document, he has invited our attention to the Standard Operating Procedure framed by the Government vide Government Resolution dated 03-6-2024.

We have perused the report of the Medical Board and the Standard Operating Procedure which is part of the Government Resolution dated 03-6-2024. In addition to above, Mr. D.V. Chauhan, learned Government Pleader has placed on record the photocopies of the documents which were issued by the Dean, Government Medical College, Nagpur.

He has invited our attention to the fact that the petitioner has asked for discharge from the said hospital against the advice of the doctors and the petitioner has further given in writing that she shall be taking further steps in the matter of medical termination of pregnancy after consulting her husband who is stationed at Karnataka.

Be that as it may, in view of above, the learned Counsel for the petitioner Mr. V.B. Bhise, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the petition.

The petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
