By this petition, interim order passed by the Dy. Commissioner (Supplies) staying the effect and operation of the order passed by the District Supply Officer is challenged. The effect of the order is that the license of the fair price shop restored in favour of the petitioner pursuant to the order passed by the District Supply Officer is kept in abeyance and the petitioner is not in a position to conduct his business as per that license.

The learned advocate for the petitioner, learned advocate for the respondent no. 3 and the learned AGP have made various submissions including the submissions touching the merits of the matter, however, as the revision application is pending before the Dy. Commissioner (Supplies), in my view, it would not be appropriate to deal with the rival contentions. The interests of justice would be sub-served by

2 wp3897.19 directing the respondent no. 1 - Dy. Commissioner (Supplies) to dispose the revision application filed by the respondent no. 3 till 30/07/2019.

The parties undertake to appear before the Dy. Commissioner (Supplies) on the date fixed for hearing of the revision application and also undertake to co-operate for expeditious disposal of the revision application. The writ petition is disposed with the above directions. In the circumstances, the parties to bear their own costs.
